Doug Caldwell

Doug Caldwell is an experienced risk executive with a strong track record of collaboration, innovation and developing strong teams to effectively understand and manage risk in a changing world.

As Chief Risk Officer for Corebridge Financial, Doug drives continuous improvement in the company’s enterprise risk management framework to inform and support business strategy.

With more than 35 years in risk and finance roles at major insurance companies, he joined Corebridge from MetLife where he served as Executive Vice President, Investment Risk and Stress Testing and U.S. Chief Risk Officer. Previously, he held Chief Risk Officer roles at Transamerica, NN Group and ING Insurance. Doug earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Auburn University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst.
