An excellent way to save for retirement

Welcome to the website Corebridge Retirement Services has created especially for employees eligible for the South Carolina State Optional Retirement Program (State ORP). As one of the service providers for the State ORP, Corebridge is committed to providing personal service whenever and wherever it is convenient for you.

Your State ORP includes several features:

  • You contribute 9% of salary, pre-tax, just like all the SC state retirement benefit plans.
  • Your local employer contributes an amount equal to 5% of your salary, pre-tax, into your State ORP account.
  • You own 100% of both your contributions and the employer matching contribution immediately.
  • You can choose your own investments, or choose professional management.
  • You can take both accounts with you wherever you live next year, or 30 years from now.

While our state office is located in Columbia, our financial professionals live throughout South Carolina.
