How to enroll, change or stop your contributions

If you are a newly eligible associate or currently contributing 0 - 4% in the Hamilton Retirement Plan, effective July 1, 2015, your new pretax contribution rate will be 5%. You will be automatically enrolled in the plan even if you are not currently participating. 

If you wish to contribute the automatic deferral percentage of 5%, no action is required to begin saving for your retirement. 

If you wish to contribute a percentage of your compensation different from the automatic deferral percentage of 5%, 

  • for Hamilton Health Care System Associates, you must elect within one week after your first pay check. 
  • for HLTC employees, you must elect within day four and day eleven after your first pay check.

Online, by phone or with your financial professional. 

  • Online : 
    • Non participating Associates may access our Simplified Online Enrollment System to enroll in the Hamilton Health Care System Retirement Plan and follow the prompts.

    • Currently participating Associates may make election changes in the the Hamilton Health Care System Retirement Plan by accessing your account online
       
  • By phone : Call 1.888.569.7055 and provide the Enrollment Specialist with the access code, 43089002021. 

  • With your financial professional : Remember, you don't have to go it alone. Our local financial professionals are always available to assist you with this process.

Your election will be effective as soon as the Plan Administrator (Hamilton) reasonably can implement after receipt.
